Police Investigation At GMU Over; Safe To Return To Normal Activities
George Mason University was put on an alert Saturday evening as police searched for a wanted person on the school's Fairfax campus.
FAIRFAX, VA — George Mason Police reported that the police investigation near the Center for the Arts on the school's Fairfax campus on Saturday had ended, according to a 10:50 p.m. alert. It was safe for people to return to their normal activities.
Just before 9 p.m., GMU Police sent out an alert saying that they were assisting a police investigation that was looking for a wanted person near the Fairfax Campus in the 4400 block of University Drive.
No information was available about he nature of the investigation. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
