Tips & Tricks for Grocery Shopping
Grocery shopping can be overwhelming, especially in a crowded store. A few ways to stay focused and remember what to buy for your memory-saving diet are to write the items down on paper, shop in the morning (before 10:00AM) when the store is less crowded, shop at the same store each time you need groceries and use earplugs to filter out noise and distraction. When in doubt, there’s always a grocery store employee available to help you locate certain foods. A way to remember what you purchased is to bring and use specific bags for specific food categories.
Going to the store may be too much for some people as it requires planning, decision-making, and concentration; plus, roads can get busy and noisy. If that’s the case, staying home and using a personal shopper is a great idea! Instacart is a service that can save you time and money. How does Instacart work? Download the app, pick a grocery store on the app, add your grocery items and the quantity to your cart, then add your delivery address and payment method. Instacart shoppers in your area will get a notification via the app and pick up and deliver your groceries right to your door that day. You can select a certain time of day for your order to arrive.
