High School Graduations at Patriot Center Bring Heavy Traffic, Delays

Schedule your commutes around these events.

UPDATE: Dates changes based on FCPS list. Mason sent out wrong list. Let me know if you see any more discrepancies.

Live or work near George Mason University? Keep track of this high school graduation schedule to plan your drives in and around the Fairfax campus.

About 3,000 to 5,500 people attend each high school graduation hosted at the Patriot Center. Expect heavy traffic and possible delays on Braddock, Route 123, University Drive, Roberts Road and other connector routes on these days. Traffic will start slowing down about an hour before and after each two-hour ceremony.
