How Did Fairfax City Vote in Tuesday's Primary?
See how many voters turned out, precinct by precinct, and find out how local residents' votes lined up with the county and the Commonwealth at large.

As Patch reported Tuesday night after the polls closed, State Senator Ralph Northam will appear on the November ballot for the Democratic candidate for Lt. Governor, and State Sen. Mark Herring will represent Democrats in the race for Attorney General.
But, how did Fairfax City residents vote?

For the most part, Fairfax City residents' votes were in line with most of the rest of Fairfax County, and the Commonwealth, as far as picking the candidates who eventually won.
However, interesting to note is that, at roughly half of the Fairfax City precincts, voters actually favored Aneesh Chopra over the winner, Ralph Northam, for Lt. Governor.
