Hundreds of Dollars in Halloween Decorations Stolen from Fairfax Neighborhoods

Hundreds of dollars' worth of Halloween decorations were stolen in residential neighborhoods across Fairfax, according to city police.

Fairfax County Police have received roughly one dozen reports of stolen Halloween decorations this year.

Among the hardest hit areas were the Sully and Fair Oaks areas as well as homes in Fairfax’s Franklin Glen community. Suspects reportedly stole hundreds of dollars’ worth of decorations from one Franklin Glen household as well as a set of 40-year-old handmade Peanuts character Halloween decorations, WJLA reports.

Several other reported decoration thefts took place Oct. 30-31 on Daniels Run Court, Warwick Avenue, Egan Drive and Woodhaven Drive.
