Man Robbed in Main St. 7-Eleven Parking Lot

Victim knew his attacker.

Fairfax City Police are looking for a suspect who jumped a man in the parking lot Sunday night.

A 44-year-old Fairfax man encountered the suspect moments before the attack inside the 7-Eleven. The suspect, a man the victim knew, demanded money from him at around 8:15 p.m., according to police. The victim said he had no money and left the store. The suspect followed him and pushed him to the ground. He rifled through the victim's pockets, which were empty, and took a cell phone out of the victim's hand before running away.

The identity of the suspect has yet to be released.
