Mason, Marymount, Georgetown Baseball Return To Capital One Park

TYSONS, VA — Capital One Park announces its third season of baseball games which will kick off on February 15, 2025 with Marymount University vs. Washington College.

Capital One Park serves as the home field of Georgetown University and Marymount University, as well as The Potomac League, a summer league for college players.

Marymount University will host games against perennial Division Three powers Christopher Newport University and Salisbury University, as well local teams from Catholic University and University of Mary Washington. They begin the home conference (Atlantic East) on March 28th against Gwynedd Mercy.

Georgetown University will host the DMV Classic three-day mix with George Mason, Longwood and Towson, and a nationally televised game on April 14 against the Oregon Ducks team that made it to the 2024 Super Regional. The Oregon game will be an early (11:00am) game and Marymount will take on CNU later that day at 6:00pm. Georgetown will begin home conference (Big East) play on April 17 against Butler.

From May 9 - 11, Capital One Park will host the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Tournament, and from May 19 - 23 the Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament. The Potomac Summer League, mostly composed of college baseball players from Washington, DC, Virginia and Maryland, will play the entirety of their season (June 1 - July 30) at Capital One Park again this summer.

Capital One Park continues to add additional amenities. In 2024 these enhancements included additional bleacher seating to accommodate seating for 600 fans, a rentable party deck “The Jungle”, locker rooms, and a merchandise kiosk. A command center for television production, instant replay and real-time analytics will elevate the Capital One Park’s offerings in 2025. Capital One Park is specically designed for use by collegiate-level baseball teams. Games range from $5 - $10 with free access for kids and seniors. Concessions for all games are provided by Starr Hill Brewery.
