Naked Man Caught Biking Down Jermantown Road

Police arrested a man for biking nude down Jermantown Road Saturday.

Steven Robarge, 48, of Hill Street was charged with indecent exposure and eluding police after a woman spotted him allegedly riding his bicycle in the nude on Jermantown Road at around 4 p.m. 

An officer attempted to stop the naked man near Kutner Park and but the suspect rode away, according to Sgt. Joe Johnson of the . He was later apprehended at his Hill Street residence.

Johnson said the man carried his clothes in a basket on his bike.

"He was not intoxicated, he said he was riding naked to get vitamin D from sunlight," Johnson said.

Robarge was taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and held on a $2,500 bond.
