Power Outages
- The forecasted inclement weather brings with it heavy rain and high winds, which can contribute to power outages.
- If you experience a power outage, contact Dominion Virginia Power via the web (http://www.dom.com/storm-center/reporting-outages.jsp) or by calling (866) DOM-HELP (866-366-4357).

Downed Trees

- Adjacent to Public Roads: Contact Virginia Department of Transportation at 1-800-FOR-ROAD, TTY 711.
- On County Parkland: Contact Fairfax County Park Authority at 703-324-8594, TTY 703-324-3988.
- In Fairfax City: Call Fairfax City Police at 703-385-7924.
- Private Property: Removal is the property owner's responsibility. Be aware of the risk of chain saw injury during tree removal. Use a chain saw safely to clear debris.
Downed Wires
- IMPORTANT: Stay away from downed wires.
- Report all downed wires immediately by calling Virginia Dominion Power at (888) 667-3000.
Water

Flooding and Sewer Breaks/Back-ups
- Rising water that threatens your safety, call 9-1-1
- Storm flooding or sewer flooding that is not an emergency, call Fairfax City Public Works at 703-385-7810.
- If you have damp walls or floors, contact a water removal or restoration company.

Septic System
- Fairfax City has a service contract with Fairfax County's Health Department. Call the Health Department at 703-246-2201, TTY 711
