MANASSAS, VA—If you're looking for something different this weekend, you might want to check out the newly opened Weinegar's Sweets and Treats in the downtown area. It's a bakery that had its grand opening last Saturday at 9105 Center Street between Shining So Candle and Knock on Wood.
The shop offers a wide variety of cookies, cupcakes, pies, pastries, custom cakes, as well as things such as ham-and-cheese croissants, challah and focaccia. Weinegar's Sweets and Treats is owned by Pamela and Heather Weinbender, and uses recipes handed down through generations.
