- Contract with B&B Signal Company to upgrade traffic signal controls and add LED lights to intersections as part of an energy-saving strategy.
- Extend a contract with the services company helping the city move utilities underground.
- Spend $175,000 more in improving Ashby Pond.
- Main Street Child Development Center can keep renting a portion of the former Green Acres Elementary School. The center has been renting since 2002.
- Transfer $2.2 million in funds from other city projects to replace the Chain Bridge Road bridge.
