This past school year, Kelcy helped found the district-wide program to prepare learners to take the GED in Spanish, despite not speaking the language. She works directly with students and the program had its first completers this year.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

She brings candy for her students, remembering each of their favorite treats to show she cares about them as individuals.
