Police: Assault, Abduction Ring in the New Year

Latest crime news in Fairfax City.

Latest crime news:

  • Assault Arrest, Auld Shebeen: Shane Michael Ktonstedt, 24, of Virginia Beach was arrested for allegedly hitting an Auld Shebeen employee on the head when ordered to leave the restaurant. Officers arrived at around midnight on Dec. 28 to help remove Ktonstedt. They too were resisted. He was charged with assault and battery, resisting arrest and drunk in public.
  • Malicious Wounding Arrest, 4100 Block of Lamarre Drive: Nolan Manuel, 27, of no fixed address was arrested on Dec. 29 for allegedly stabbing a family member during an argument. Officers located and arrested Manuel, charging him with aggravated malicious wounding.
  • Assault/Abduction, 3940 University Drive Parking Garage: Brandon Douglas Gordon, 26, of Chain Bridge Road was arrested on Jan. 1 for allegedly assaulting a 23-year-old Woodbridge woman in the parking garage. The woman later told officers that Gordon had chased and abducted her at a Chain Bridge Road residence. Gordon was charged with assault and battery, abduction and drunk in public.
