Police Chase Ends in Fairfax After Failure to Stop: Police

Incident involving pursuit took place Monday night off of Random Hills Road.

FAIRFAX, VA -- A Fairfax resident led police on a police chase and was found to be driving without a license, according to Fairfax County Police.

The incident took place in the 4100 block of Hazelwood Court Monday night around 7:34 p.m., police said. An officer attempted to make a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic infraction, police said.

The driver did not stop and a pursuit was initiated by the officer, according to police.

The vehicle eventually stopped and the driver was identified. Anietie Udofia, 53, of Fairfax, was charged with disregarding a police signal to stop, driving without a license, and providing false identity to law enforcement, police said.
