Police Investigate Hit and Run on Fairfax Boulevard
This is the second Fairfax City hit and run in 2012.

Police are searching for the driver who reportedly struck and killed a man then drove away without helping early Saturday morning.
Arlington County Police found a 2010 Jeep Compass they say was used in the crime shortly after James Ralph Davidson, 62, of no fixed address was found dead at the Fairfax City scene. City of Fairfax Police impounded the vehicle. They are now investigating to try to find out who was driving the Jeep during the 1:15 a.m. hit-and-run incident.
"An Arlington County Police lieutenant spotted the car immediately after the lookout was given on the basis of information provided by witnesses," said Sgt. Joe Johnson of the . "[We are] continuing our investigation to identify the driver and to determine if speed or alcohol were factors."

Davidson was crossing the six-lane Fairfax Boulevard between and Draper Drive when the Jeep struck him while traveling in the eastbound lanes. He was declared dead at the scene.
This is the second hit and run in Fairfax City in three months.

Mohammad Jabour, 33, was while walking on the sidewalk along Fairfax Boulevard near Warwick Avenue on June 15. The impact into a parked vehicle. He remains in a coma.
Prior to the June 15 incident, a fatal hit and run within the city limits happened at . Juan Pablo Hernandez Rodriguez, 66, was struck by a car while crossing Eaton. He died in the hospital five days later.
Police charged Rodriguez's neighbor, Kyung Boo You, 44, with the crime. Both lived on Willow Crescent Drive, near the scene of the incident.
