Police Link Centreville Man To 3 Indecent Exposures In Greenbriar

GREENBRIAR,VA — A 21-year-old Centreville man was arrested in connection with an April 24 indecent exposure incident in Greenbriar, according to authorities. Investigators believe he may be responsible for similar incidents in the area dating back to 2024.

Fairfax County Police officers responded around 4:10 p.m. Thursday in the area of Maple Run Lane and Middle Ridge Drive in Greenbriar for the report of an indecent exposure.

The victim told officers a man ran off after exposing himself. Police searched the area, but failed to locate the suspect.

Detectives identified Osman Quintana Herrara as a suspect in the case, according to police. Investigators linked him to two similar incidents that occurred near the Rocky Run trail in Greenbriar on Aug. 27, 2024 and Dec. 16, 2024. Those incidents involved a man on a trail masturbating or exposing himself.

Officers arrested Quintana Herrara on Thursday and took him to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where he was charged with three counts of indecent exposure, according to police. He was later released on a $1,500 bond.

Quintana Herrara’s preliminary hearing is set for Sept. 11, in Fairfax County District Court, according to court records.

The three counts of indecent exposure are considered Class 1 misdemeanors. Each charge is punishable by up to one year in jail, a fine of up to $2,500, or both, under the Code of Virginia.
