Police Search For 7-Eleven Robbery Suspect
Helicopter units dispatched to look for man after he allegedly wielded a knife at store on Blake Lane.

Fairfax County Police continue to look for a man who allegedly robbed the 7-Eleven on Blake Lane on Thursday morning.
Officer Don Gotthardt said the suspect went into the store around 7 a.m. Thursday.
A male employee noticed the suspect had Newport Cigarettes under his jacket and confronted him, Gotthardt wrote in an email to Patch.

At some point, the suspect displayed a knife, pushed the employee away and fled on foot toward the Farrish of Fairfax vehicle dealership on Fairfax Boulevard. There were no injuries.
Helicopters were dispatched to search for the suspect, Gotthardt said.

Fairfax City police also assisted in a ground search.
The man was last seen in the area in a gold Jeep Cherokee, Gotthardt said. There is no information on the vehicle's license plate at this time.
The suspect is described as a black male between 40 and 50 years old, standing between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-8 and weighing between 160 and 180 pounds.
