Police: Two Hit and Run Arrests, Threatening Phone Call

Latest crime news:
- Shoplifting Arrest, K-Mart: Safaa Khairi, 24, of Blake Lane was arrested for allegedly hiding store merchandise in her purse on Dec. 6. She was charged with petit larceny.
- Hit and Run Arrest, Lee Highway/Jermantown Road: Kap Joe Na, 54, of McLean was arrested for allegedly hitting another vehicle from behind and running away from the scene on Dec. 11. Police found the suspect at a nearby shopping center and charged him with felony hit and run and driving under the influence of alcohol.
- Hit and Run Arrest, Chain Bridge Road/Sager Avenue: Eric Hansen, 53, of Decour Court was arrested for allegedly swerving across the double yellow line, hitting another vehicle and fleeing the scene on Dec. 11. Fairfax County Police stopped Hansen shortly after the hit and run for driving under the influence.
- Threatening Phone Calls, Probation Office (Page Ave.): A male left a message at the office saying he would harm his ASAP councelor on Dec. 14. An employee contacted police and identified the subject. Warrant service is in the works.
