Robbery Investigation Underway In Fairfax City: Police

FAIRFAX CITY, VA — City of Fairfax Police were at the scene of a robbery in the area of Wilcoxon Drive west of Fair City Mall to investigate the report of a robbery, according to a social media post.

"We believe the suspects have fled into Fairfax County, driving a gray Chevrolet sedan with a Maryland license plate," the post says. "There is no threat to the public at this time."

The Fairfax County police helicopter was assisting city police in their investigation. Police asked the public to avoid the area while the investigation was going on.
