The City of Fairfax warns that Sager Avenue will be closed to traffic between Locust Lane and Roberts Road temporarily Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A crane will be lifting construction materials, so officials said parts of the street will need to close to through-traffic for safety.

Officials said, Locust Lane will be the detour around the closed section of Sager Avenue, and flagmen will be stationed at both ends of the closure to direct through-traffic and allow local traffic in and out.
