Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued For NoVA
National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning Tuesday afternoon for Northern Virginia and the D.C. area.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning at 4:15 p.m., on Tuesday for Northern Virginia.
The severe thunderstorm warning was in effect until 5 p.m. for the following localities:
- Southwestern Fairfax County
- City of Manassas Park
- Central Prince William County
- City of Manassas
Residents are cautioned to expect damaging winds that could knock down some trees and large branches. This may damage homes and vehicles, block roadways, and cause localized power outages.
