Suspect Sought in Armed Robbery at Shell Gas Station

Fairfax police are searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed a Fairfax County Shell gas station at gunpoint Monday evening.

Fairfax County Police are seeking an armed suspect who reportedly robbed a Shell gas station on Chain Bridge Road in Fairfax County Monday evening.

The robbery took place shortly before 7:50 p.m. at the Shell gas station located at 3650 Chain Bridge Road. According to police, the suspect approached an employee at the front counter and produced a handgun.

The employee gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and the suspect left on foot toward Chain Bridge Road and Eaton Place.

Police searched the area using a K-9 unit and a Fairfax County Police Department helicopter but were unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as a clean-shaven Hispanic male in his early 20s who speaks poor English, according to the employee. The suspect was last seen wearing a black boonie hat, black jacket and blue jeans.
