The City of Fairfax advised Tuesday morning that Verizon will be conducting utility work downtown.
Between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tuesday, the right lane of eastbound Main Street just east of East Street will be closed for the repair work. Traffic will be able to pass in the left lane, but will likely be slowed.
