FRIDAY
- Mason Dance Company Fall Concert: Young professional dancers show off their latest choreography and talent on stage. The performances start Thursday night and continue into Saturday. Click here for a full schedule. Tickets are $15 regular admission, $10 for students/staff/seniors, $7 for groups of 10 or more. Harris Theater, George Mason University.
- Bingo: City of Fairfax Volunteer Fire Department offers bingo every Friday night at Fire Station No. 3. Starts at 7:15 p.m.
- Chris Collat Band: Live music at Auld Shebeen in the Cellar. 10 p.m.
- Angie Head and Tenth Road North: Both bands perform at The Old Fire Station 3. Doors open at 8 p.m. Ages 18+
- Bonita Lestina Performance Series: The D'Amore Duo, American guitarist William Feasley, and Russian oboist, Vladimir Lande, perform at Old Town Hall, 8 p.m.
- Jazz 4 Justice: Enjoy music from the WWII era at the Center for the Arts Concert Hall. This is the benefit event's 10th anniversary. George Mason University, 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 general admission, $15 for students/seniors. Click here for more info.
SATURDAY

- American Freedom Foundation Benefit Concert: This 8th annual concert features multi-platinum rock band Daughtry. Show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $39.50. Patriot Center. Click here for more info.
- Fall Food Drive: Donate toys, food and more to Our Daily Bread every Saturday until December 10. Drop off items at 10376 Willard Way, in the Courthouse Plaza (next to Safeway). Donations accepted 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Fairfax Symphony Orchestra: This performance features Chris Zimmerman as conductor and Yolanda Kondonassis on the harp. Pre-performance lecture at 7 p.m. with Rachel Franklin. Concert starts at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $25. Center for the Arts, George Mason University. Click here for more info.
- Working, by Woodson Students: W.T. Woodson High School's Performing Arts Department presents "Working," a musical, Thursday through Sunday. Click here for a full schedule. Tickets are $8 for general admission and $5 for seniors.
- Pigs From a Gun: The band performs at Epicure Cafe. Doors open at 8 p.m. Show is open to all ages.
- Heaven Can Wait, by PVI Players: Paul VI Catholic High School Players perform "Heaven Can Wait" Thursday through Sunday. for a full schedule. Tickets at $10 general admission, $5 for students.
- Icelandic Bazaar: Stop by American Legion Post 170 for Icelandic food, holiday decorations and more. This is an annual event. 11 a.m.
SUNDAY
- Second Sunday Series: Learn about the Arlington National Cemetery through an illustrated talk by National Park Service historians Brad Berger and Michael Kelly. Fairfax Museum and Visitor Center, 2 p.m.
- NRBK and Heather Haze: Both bands perform at The Old Fire Station 3. Doors open at 4 p.m. Show open to all ages.
- The Miles Davis Experience: Listen/watch a multimedia story of post-war America. Jason Palmer leads a quintet of jazz musicians in this tribute to Miles Davis. There will be a pre-performance discussion. Concert starts at 7 p.m. Tickets start at $22. Center for the Arts, George Mason University.
- Mason Vocal Jazz Ensembles: Enjoy performances from Mason's School of Music Vocal Jazz. The ensembles include the GM Unit, Soundcheque and Timesquare Singers. Harris Theater, George Mason University. 7-9 p.m.
