  • Manassas Gap Railroad, An Informal Study. Author Clark Spitler talks about the remains of a pre-Civil War railroad. Fairfax Museum and Visitor Center, 2-4 p.m.
  • Faculty Artist Series. Listen to GMU faculty artist Jesse Guessford discuss his role in composing "The Descent." Harris Theater, Fairfax Campus, 8 p.m.
  • Farmer's Market. Drop by the Downtown Fairfax Coalition's market for fresh produce, meat and local goods. West and Main streets behind Wachovia, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
