Staying close to home this Labor Day weekend? Here's a quick list of what's scheduled within the city limits:

SATURDAY

• Farmer's Market. Drop by the Downtown Fairfax Coalition's market for fresh produce, meat and local goods. West and Main streets behind Wachovia, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Master Gardeners. Fairfax County Master Gardeners will give tips, information, techniques and advice to home gardeners. City of Fairfax Regional Library, 10 a.m.

SUNDAY

• Farmer's Market. Drop by the Downtown Fairfax Coalition's market for fresh produce, meat and local goods. Parking lot at the corner of North Street and Old Lee Highway, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Accidents, Pharmacists, Toy Store Riot, Burn the Ballroom, The American Space Cadets. Five acts in one show. Listen to the bands before you go: Vienna's Accidents, D.C.'s Pharmacists, D.C.'s Toy Store Riot, Chantilly's Burn the Ballroom, and D.C.'s American Space Cadets. Old Fire Station No. 3, 3 p.m., 21+
