What's Open, Closed for Thanksgiving

Here's a quick guide to what city and county services are open and closed for the Thanksgiving holiday.

• Fairfax City Government Offices: Closed Nov. 24-25
• Fairfax County Government Offices: Closed Nov. 24-25
• Fairfax City General District Court: Closed Nov. 24-25 
• Fairfax County Courts: Will close at noon on Nov. 23 and remain closed until Nov. 26
• Trash and Recycling: No service on Nov. 24-25. for changes in this week's collection schedule.
• CUE Bus: No service on Nov. 24, modified weekday service on Nov. 25
• Fairfax Connector: Service will run on a Sunday schedule on Nov. 24. Routes that are normally not run on Sundays will not be in service on Nov. 24. Buses will run on holiday weekday schedule on Nov. 25 except for routes 335, 395, 585, 595, and 597, which will not operate.
• Fairfax Museum and Visitor Center: Closed Nov. 24, open Nov. 25
• Civil War Interpretive Center: Closed Nov. 24, open Nov. 25
• Public Schools: Two-hour early closing for students on Nov. 23, closed Nov. 24-25
• Public Libraries: Closed Nov. 24-25.
