Here's a quick guide to what city and county services are open and closed for the Thanksgiving holiday.

  • Fairfax City Government Offices: Closed Nov. 22-23
  • General District Court: Closed Nov. 22-23 
  • Fairfax County Courts: Will close at noon on Nov. 21 and remain closed until Nov. 23
  • Trash and Recycling: No service on Nov. 24-25. Click here for changes in this week's collection schedule.
  • CUE Bus: No service on Nov. 22, modified weekday service on Nov. 23
  • Fairfax Museum and Visitor Center: Closed Nov. 22, open Nov. 23
  • Civil War Interpretive Center: Closed Nov. 22, open Nov. 23
  • Public Schools: Two-hour early closing for students on Nov. 21, closed Nov. 22-23
