Woman Hospitalized Following Pedestrian-Involved Crash In Fair Oaks: Police
Fairfax County police are investigating a pedestrian-involved crash that occurred Tuesday night along Route 29 in the Fair Oaks area.
FAIRFAX, VA — A woman was hospitalized, following a pedestrian-involved crash in the Fair Oaks area on Tuesday night, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.
Officers were at the scene of the crash on Route 29 at Forum Drive around 7:45 p.m., according to a post on the department's X account.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to police. The drive of the striking vehicle had remained at the scene.

Police closed Route 29 between Holly Avenue and Forum Drive to allow crash reconstruction detectives to process the scene. The road was reopened around 9:30 p.m.
