UPDATE: Body of White Male Found in Creek Sunday in Seven Corners Area: Police
Fairfax County Police are investigating a death Sunday in the Falls Church area.

UPDATE 3:45 p.m. Sunday: The body of a white male was found in a local creek in the Seven Corners area around 9:30 a.m. Sunday by a citizen who reported it to police, Fairfax County Police said in an update Sunday afternoon.

The creek is located in the 3000 block of Dashiell Road (see map below).
Responding officers located a deceased white male who appeared to have been in the water for a period of time, police said.

The body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for further examination. The medical examiner will determine cause and manner of death.
Detectives have not yet identified the man and are continuing their investigation.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Fairfax County Police are investigating a death Sunday in the Falls Church area of Fairfax County, according to a message posted by police at about 11 a.m. Sunday on Twitter.
Police are in the 3000 block of Dashiell Road (see map below), where photos show a wooded area and police wearing life jackets near a creek.
A map shows a creek called Tripps Run. The location is off of Annandale Road, near Route 50 and the Seven Corners area.
