City of Falls Church Police are investigating a report of a stolen laptop computer from an unsecured room at the Stratford Motor Lodge on May 10.

Jose E. Carabantes Cortez, 55, of Falls Church, was charged with public drunkenness on May 13 in the 1100 block of W. Broad St.

Ricardo E. Vasquez, 23, of the City of Falls Church, was charged with assaulting a family member on May 13 in the 1200 block of Ellison St.

Stephen J. Smith, 24, of Springfield, was charged with driving under the influence, refusal to submit to blood or breath test and driving with a suspended license on May 15 in the 100 block of Park Ave.

City of Falls Church Police are investigating a report of slashed tires on a private vehicle in the 400 block of Jackson St. on May 15.
