Falls Church Middle School Gets New Principal
Seidah Ashshaheed voted in by FCCPS Board at Tuesday night meeting

When the fall rolls around, there will be a new principal at the helm at Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School.
With a vote by the Falls Church City Public Schools Board Tuesday night at a meeting, Seidah Ashshaheed was appointed the next principal at the school district’s only middle school. Ashshahed will replace Ann McCarty. McCarty resigned in May and will become principal at Williamsburg Middle School in Arlington.
“Seidah Ashshaheed brings a record of enthusiasm, high energy and great accomplishment to Mary Ellen Henderson,” Superintendent Lois Berlin said in a written statement. “In addition, her experience working with all age groups is a great benefit for FCCPS.”
