Falls Church Native Drafted to Pro Lacrosse League

Former Falls Church High and VMI lacrosse standout Keith Long selected by Rochester Rattlers.

The Rochester Rattlers in the Major League Lacrosse supplemental draft selected former tri-sport standout Wednesday.

Long, a star midfielder at Virginia Military Institute, was selected fourth in the draft.

“It’s crazy. I never thought in a million years I’d get drafted and have a chance to play for a pro team. I’m excited to represent VMI in the MLL and I want to make the Rattlers proud that they chose another VMI guy,” Long said in a statement from the school.
