Falls Church Police Case Ends With Guilty Plea
Multiple guns, 19-pounds of marijuana off the streets.
A 2009 City of Falls Church drug case has ended with one man pleading guilty in Arlington Circuit Court. Peter Crews, 51, of Falls Church, was sentenced to eight years in prison with five years and six months suspended.
Crews was charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute. Police confiscated $47,000 in cash, more than 19-pounds of marijuana, a 9mm semi automatic pistol, a 12-gauge shotgun and a 9mm M-11 pistol.
“Months of thorough investigative work and perseverance by our Falls Church Police detectives resulted in the removal of drugs from our streets,” said Chief Harry Reitze. “Falls Church Police takes drug trafficking seriously and we will utilize our resources to protect our citizens from dangerous criminals.”

The case began in November of 2009 ending with an April 22 guilty plea.
