Five Things You Need to Know
Street sweeping will continue throughout the week in 'The Little City.'
- Street sweeping in the City of Falls Church will take place through Friday. Vehicles should be moved from residential streets between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. when street sweeping is scheduled for their area. Parked vehicles impede the street sweeping equipment, resulting in less efficient and effective service.
- The Pedestrian, Bicycle, Traffic Calming Advisory Committee will meet in the Dogwood Room inside City Hall Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
- The State Theatre will play host to the Speakeasy Burlesque Friday at 9 p.m. Click here for tickets and details of the show.
- The Recreation and Parks Department is seeking volunteers to call bingo on Wednesday mornings from 10 a.m. to noon at the Senior Center. Interested volunteers should call 703-248-5020 for more information and to sign up.
