Civil War Day

Why Go: Civil War Day is held each year on a Saturday in May at Cherry Hill Park. This living-history event depicts the Falls Church homefront during the Civil War. Activities include drilling and firing demonstrations, living history presentations, a Civil War music concert and box lunches.

Where/When: Adventure Theatre, 7300 MacArthur Blvd., Glen Echo, Md.; Saturday, May 21, 11 a.m.; 2 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Kid Zone Laser Tag

Where/When: LaserNation, 421 S. Sterling Blvd., Sterling, Va., Saturday, May 21; 10 a.m. – noon

Why Go: Every Saturday morning from 10 until noon kids 12 and under can play LaserNation. No one over 12 is admitted in the arena.
