Police Seek Information on Suspicious Person

FALLS CHURCH, VA -- City of Falls Church Police responded to Thomas Jefferson Elementary School, at 601 S. Oak St.), at about noon Friday for a report of a suspicious person, police said in an alert sent out Friday night.

School officials told police that a white male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and possibly a black hat was standing near the school grounds perimeter, according to police.

The man was using a tablet or computer, possibly watching children, police said. When police arrived, the man was gone. Police searched the area but found nothing.
