Police Sketch Helps Catch Fairfax Co. Indecent Exposure Suspect
A Dumfries man was charged with indecent liberty in connection with several indecent exposure cases in the Bailey's Crossroads area.

BAILEY'S CROSSROADS, VA — A Dumfries man was charged with multiple counts of indecent liberty on Thursday in connection with several indecent exposure cases in the Bailey’s Crossroads area earlier this year.
Fairfax County police responded to the 6200 block of Knollwood Drive on Thursday for a suspicious man loitering in the lobby of an apartment building. The caller recognized the man as resembling a composite sketch of an indecent exposure suspect released by the FCPD in November.
Detectives identified Jovica Stanisic, 34, as the suspect from the previous indecent exposure cases in the area, police said.

Stanisic was charged with four counts of indecent liberties and one count of identity theft, according to police. He was taken to the Fairfax County jail and then released on secure bond.
In one case, officers responded to the 6000 block of Knollwood Drive in the Bailey’s Crossroads area after a juvenile was approached by a man, who exposed himself. The victim ran away and was not harmed.

In early November, police released a chart of the reported cases of indecent liberty.
Detectives are asking anyone with information about other possible indecent liberty incidents to call the FCPD’s Major Crimes Bureau at 703-246-7800, option 3.
