Robbery at Gunpoint Monday Night at Papa John's in Falls Church: Police
Suspects wearing masks and gloves robbed pizza shop on Broad Street; one store employee was hit on the head with a handgun.

FALLS CHURCH, VA -- The Papa John's on Broad Street was robbed at gunpoint late Monday night, the City of Falls Church announced Tuesday.Police were contacted at about 11:30 p.m. Monday about the robbery at 500 W. Broad St. Two suspects accosted a victim in the parking lot, taking money and a cell phone, according to police. The suspects then entered the store, where they demanded and took cash from the register, police said.
One store employee was hit on the head with a handgun. Both suspects fled on foot. The two victims were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspects are described as male, possibly black, police said. They were wearing hooded sweatshirts – one black, one gray – and had masks and gloves. There are no photos or video available at this time. Any additional updates will be made when available.
