This indoor playground lets kids have fun and burn off their energy. The facility accepts children from 5-month-olds to elementary-age children, and there's a café serving food for children and adults.

Cherry Hill Farmhouse, a 19th century historic property next to City Hall, offers tours, special events and educational programs. 7. Wolf Trap's Children's Theatre-in-the-Woods

This summer tradition involves shows geared toward children ages 4 and up. Shows will get children engaged with storytelling, music, dance and more. Shows are about an hour long and are held select days through Aug. 5.
8. Jefferson District Mini Golf Course

Enjoy this 18-hole mini golf course suitable for all ages. An event pavilion with picnic tables is also available to rent for events.
