Waxing Salon Coming to Mosaic District
Sister-owners Monica Gomez and Anna Akers opened Cera Wax Studio in Bethesda in 2013; now they're coming to Mosaic District.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Four years after sister-owners Monica Gomez and Anna Akers opened Cera Wax Studio in the heart of Bethesda in 2013, they recently announced their expansion, a second studio in Fairfax’s Mosaic District, opening this spring at 2910 District Ave., #165 (see map below). (Cera is the Spanish and Italian word for wax.)
The two are eyeing an early April opening at Mosaic.
“We’re happy to be celebrating our fourth anniversary in business by announcing our growth,” said co-owner Monica Gomez. “We’ve succeeded by mastering the art of waxing and keeping our focus on providing the highest quality waxing experience and being part of the community we serve. The vibrance and character of the Mosaic District proved to be just the right fit for our second home.”
