Week In Review: Boston Marathon Bombing Tops Headlines

In a week that started with a horrific bombing following the Boston Marathon, there were a couple of good things that happened.

The Falls Church Farmer’s Market Chef Series returned and the final touches are being put on the Annual Memorial Day Parade and Festival are being completed.

While George Mason High graduate and current College of William & Mary linebacker Stephen Lubnow had a stellar outing in the team’s spring game, the baseball team at Falls Church High honored a teacher who was killed in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.

Falls Church City Police had a busy week stopping an attempted assault and abduction and making other arrests.
