Whiz Kid: Rachel Matz, Anja Boneau, Sarah Alverson, Hope Bossart and Rebecca Stern

Each week, Falls Church Patch will seek suggestions from readers for individual kids, youth groups, teens, and even sports teams that wow us with their accomplishments. We want to hear about these amazing children and teens and select one each week as the Patch Whiz Kid. 

This week’s Whiz Kids are Rachel Matz, Anja Boneau, Sarah Alverson, Hope Bossart and Rebecca Stern.

The girls, students at Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School, raised $51.21 for new books for the school’s library. The girls hope to hold another sale in the spring to bring the total to $100, said Adele Eskin, the library media specialist who nominated the girls.
