$250K Won By Stafford Woman Playing VA Lottery's Bank A Million Game
Stopping for gas, a Stafford County woman won $250,000 on two Bank a Million tickets from the Virginia Lottery.

STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — A Stafford County woman banked $250,000 by playing the Virginia Lottery's Bank a Million game recently.
Shevan Collier decided to buy a couple of Bank a Million lottery tickets for the May 25 drawing while she stopped for gas at the Royal Farms at 1500 George Washington Highway in Yorktown. She used a combination of family birthdays to determine what numbers to play.
Later, after the drawing had occurred, Collier checked the Virginia Lottery app and discovered that she'd won big.

“I said, ‘Those are my numbers,'” she told Lottery officials, recently. “I told my husband, and he didn’t believe me.”
The winning numbers for the May 25 drawing were 2-4-5-12-14-31, and the Bonus Ball number was 11. Collier matched the first six numbers, which meant she didn't ned the Bonus Ball number. The odds of winning any prize playing Bank a Million are 1 in 18.3.

The profits from the Virginia Lottery go to funding K-12 education throughout the state. In the last fiscal year, Stafford County, which is where Johnson calls home, received $16.2 million in lottery funds for K-12 education.
