27 Health Code Violations Found At Fredericksburg Restaurant: Inspection
Rappahannock Area Health District inspectors found violations at 11 of the Fredericksburg food establishments they visited recently.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Rappahannock Area Health District inspectors found health code violations at 11 of the food establishments they visited between Oct. 18 and 22.
Logan's Roadhouse at 3106 Spotsylvania Mall Drive had the 27 violations, which was the most inspectors reported finding at the 11 food establishments the visited.
The restaurant did not have a certified food protection manager as required, and many of the violations concerned a lack of someone monitoring food temperatures, employee handwashing, or communicating the proper procedures for cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment.

While visiting the Wild Waylon's BBQ at 43 Town & Country Drive, an inspector reporting seeing a child entering the kitchen. The inspector told the person in charge that only food employees are permitted in the kitchen.
"The person in charge shall ensure persons unnecessary to the food establishment operation are not allowed in the food preparation, food storage, or warewashing areas, except that brief visits and tours may be authorized by the person in charge if steps are taken to ensure that exposed food; clean equipment, utensils, and linens; and unwrapped single-service and single-use articles are protected from contamination," the inspector wrote in their report
