5 High School Bands Team Up To Help Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank

High school musicians from Stafford County Public Schools will perform together in support of the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Students from five local high schools will be teaming to put on a show and help feed food-insecure families in Stafford County.

On Monday, Nov. 4,at 7 p.m., band members from Brooke Point, Colonial Forge, Mountain View, North Stafford, and Stafford high schools will be performing together as part of the “BAND Together to Fight Hunger” on the Mountain View football field.

Each band will perform separately, before taking the field together and performing the grand finale. North Stafford High School Assistant Principal Brandon Neal, a former music teacher, will be the conductor for the combined performance.

The purpose of the concert is to help the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank achieve its goal of providing 50,000 meals to surrounding communities this year. Anyone who donates a non-perishable food item will receive free admission to the concert.

Prior to the grand finale, local businesses will present donations to the drum majors from each school.
