50-Year-Old Man Critically Injured In Single-Vehicle Crash: Police

A 50-year-old Fredericksburg man was hospitalized with critical injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Monday.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — A 50-year-old Fredericksburg man was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle on Monday on Fall Hill Avenue, according to Fredericksburg Police Department.

Cesareo Jurado Coca was crossing the travel lanes in the 3300 block of Fall Hill Avenue around 5:31 p.m., when he was hit by a vehicle traveling eastbound. Coca was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for critical injuries, according to police.

The driver of the striking vehicle stayed on the scene following the incident, according to police. There was no indication that the driver was impaired and he did not sustain any injuries.
