Allen, Wittman Campaign in Fredericksburg

The two Republicans will travel to Manassas after their stop at SimVentions.

George Allen and Congressman Rob Wittman will campaign in Fredericksburg and Manassas on Tuesday, according to the George Allen for U.S. Senate press office.  They will be joined by Gov. Bob McDonnell.

The first event is a 9 a.m. Small Business and Defense Roundtable at SimVentions, 11905 Bowman Drive, Suite 502, in Fredericksburg.  State Senator Bryce Reeves will also attend.

Following the roundtable, Allen, Wittman and Gov. McDonnell will be joined by  Delegate Rich Anderson for a tour of Logis-Tech, 9450 Innovation Drive, Suite 1, in Manassas.  The tour is expected to begin at 11:30 a.m.

George Allen is running against Tim Kaine (D) for Virginia's U.S. Senate seat.  Both are former Virginia governors.

Republican incumbent Rep. Rob Wittman, faces Democratic candidate Adam Cook and Independent candidate Gail Parker.  The three candidates for Virginia's First Congressional District will participate in a debate at the University of Mary Washington on Monday, Oct. 29.  The debate begins at 7:30 p.m. in George Washington Hall’s Dodd Auditorium. It is free and open to the public.
