A woman who falsely identified herself as "Karen" was wanted in Fredericksburg for failing to appear in court, authorities say.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA — A 46-year-old Stafford woman wanted in Fredericksburg for failure to appear in court was arrested on Thursday after she gave a fake name to a Stafford County sheriff’s deputy.
The deputy was dispatched around 12:48 p.m. to the Wawa at 9 South Gateway Drive in the Fredericksburg area for the report of two people arguing. Arriving on the scene, the deputy spoke to the man and woman involved in the dispute, with the latter identifying herself as “Karen,” according to the sheriff’s office.
