Armed Sunoco Robbers Sought In Fredericksburg: Police

FREDERICKSBURG, VA—Authorities are looking for two men who robbed a Sunoco gas station at gunpoint Thursday night at 201 Jefferson Davis Highway, according to Fredericksburg Police. The men were described as black and "armed and dangerous." They were wearing dark clothing, masks, gloves and had black backpacks with them.

Shortly before 7 p.m., they entered the business and demanded money from the clerk. They also demanded money from a clerk at Checks Cashed, a business within the station. The men fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, but not before assaulting a customer at Checks Cashed.

The customer declined medical treatment for minor injuries. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 540-373-3122.
